service / custom software development
Software built around your workflow, not the other way around.
Skew Blanc builds internal tools and customer-facing platforms with a dedicated full-stack team that stays on after launch, instead of disappearing once the invoice clears.

What's included in a build with Skew Blanc.
One team, start to finish — design, engineering, testing, and support.
Product & UX design
We design around how your team actually works, not a generic template that gets rebuilt six months in.
Full-stack engineering
One dedicated team owns the frontend, backend, and infrastructure, so nothing falls through the cracks between contractors.
Web & mobile delivery
Responsive web apps, native mobile, or both, depending on where your users actually are.
Third-party integrations
Payment processors, CRMs, ERPs — we connect to what you already use instead of asking you to replace it.
Automated testing
A test suite ships alongside the product, so future changes don't silently break something that used to work.
Post-launch support
The team that built it stays on to fix, extend, and maintain it — no handoff to a support team that's never seen the code.
How a build actually runs, sprint by sprint.
01
Discovery
We map your current workflow and pin down exactly what the software needs to do.
02
Design
Wireframes and prototypes are reviewed with your team before a line of code is written.
03
Build in two-week cycles
You see working software every sprint, not a single reveal at the end.
04
Launch & support
We stay on after launch to fix issues and extend the product as your needs change.
Off-the-shelf software makes you adapt to it. Custom software adapts to you.
Most teams eventually hit a wall where the spreadsheet, or the SaaS tool that almost fits, starts costing more in workarounds than it saves. Custom software closes that gap by matching the tool to the actual process, not the reverse.
- Working software delivered every two weeks, visible to your team throughout
- Automated test coverage so changes don't silently break existing features
- Full code and infrastructure ownership handed over at completion
- The same engineers who built it are available for support afterward
Common questions.
Do you build from scratch, or work with existing codebases?
Both. Roughly half our engagements start with an existing codebase that needs new features, a rebuild, or a rescue from a previous vendor.
How do you price a custom build?
Most projects are scoped and quoted per sprint after a discovery phase, so you know the cost of the next two weeks before committing to them, rather than a fixed bid on an unclear spec.
What happens if our requirements change mid-project?
That's expected. Two-week cycles mean we can reprioritize the backlog between sprints instead of being locked into a spec from month one.
Who owns the code once the project is finished?
You do, fully. Source code, documentation, and infrastructure access are handed over at project completion, with no vendor lock-in.
Tell us what your team is working around.
We'll scope what a custom build would look like, no obligation.
